Thank you all for the wonderful praises...first of all, this has been put away for 4 years, got it out the other day and sewed the blocks together, really need to finish it... the satin is sewn with 1/2" seam allowances, sewn directly onto foundation squares of cotton that has been prewashed.. I would take these when I did respite care in people's homes and work on them...I really like to embroider so it was a good way to pass the time....
