I'm back from Tillamook, having left the quilts with the museum. The two nice women at the museum were thrilled to get them. We toured their repository, which is temperature controlled. All the quilts are stored in acid-free boxes and catalogued on their museum software. Not all quilts are on display all the time. They bring them out on a rotating basis and exhibit them for a month or so at a time. Also, they take them on tours around the nation from time-to-time. I felt very good leaving them, and I was sure they are in good hands. They will be kept together as a collection named for my grandmother: "The Bertha Maust Collection."
