Just an FYI, there were two different stitch indicator plates on the non-thumb screw type machines. The 99-13 had a large thumb screw to change the stitch length. In the 1953 manual the stitch length was a lever with a single slot. The 1962 has a plate with 2 slots, one was for the lever and the other had an indicator for the stitch length. I really never paid attention until recently and was reading a blog that told about the two different stitch indicator plates.
