black button. For those who have Janome machines it's the A foot.

Oh my gosh, I have a Janome & have that foot but never knew what the black button was for. Thanks for the link to the video. I went back & found the instructions on how to use it in my manual. I have a Janome Magnolia 7330 & the instructions are one page 32 & it's titled "To sew from the edge of thick fabric". Hope this helps others.
