I have only done one sew along - Kathleen Tracys School Girl Sampler on line. Some of the others, which I have followed, are OK but there were always things I did not like about them lol. I do save a few individual blocks for use later.
I have done several BOMs in person - but even with that I do a lot of subbing of fabrics and rarely finish them as suggested.
