I think I should try a beard trimmer! That may work just as well...I purchased one from Nancy's Notions quite some years ago. Sounded like a great thing to have. I used it to remove applique stitching, but the stitching was so tight it wouldn't work until I took a seam ripper to it, very carefully cut through the threads and then used the seam ripper. Gave it to my daughter. Then I had seen The Quick Ripper (The ultimate seam ripper) ad from
www.jmichellewatts.com. so I ordered one and had the same results. But for embroidery work if the stitching isn't as tight as it is on applique, it might work.
