I stay with private groups. At least the spammers if they do manage to join get blocked fast. If you click on any post to go to that site you will get a lot of random ad posts. Never do that unless you want to see nothing but ad posts. Facebook has become almost useless as far as trust. Never buy from an ad on Facebook.
I'm amazed at the obviously fake ads that FB allows, they seem to come in waves, like for discount postage stamps or "Louis" purses (they never
say Louis Vuitton but they show pictures that suggest it). And the "W@lm@rt is selling stand mixers for $2!!"
I report them all, it probably doesn't do any good.
