Update on mom: She can no longer be left alone. She falls/passes out often. The cancer in her brain is making her argumentative and forgetful. I am spending all my free time with her and work from my sister's home 2 days a week to give her a break. It is tough. Her kidney function is rapidly declining but we cannot get her to drink. It is my life for now. The doctors anticipate 4-6 months but my mom is a tough one.
