Another way to do it. A leader or the group, chooses the blocks that will go in the quilt and the color tones. Then each member makes a block for herself and 1 for each member of the group. All should be the same color/style. The member would send all but hers to the leader along with a post-paid envelope for the leader. At the end of the quilt-along, the leader will send back to her one of everybody else's blocks that will be hers at the end of the sew along. Since you have an odd number of people, you may want to add several that each person could do to make a decent sized quilt, or make 2 blocks a month or whatever the group will want to do.
