We love maple syrup, it sure has increased in price lately. When I make pancakes for the grands I pour the syrup in the pan/griddle when the pancakes just about done. The heat of the pan does wonderful things to the syrup and coats the pancakes. My grandmother taught me that trick. I have always kept maple syrup in the fridge after opening.
