Belfrybat, I really like the balance of the three aquas. I'm also really quite excited about seeing how your blocks start to form as I'm reasonably new to ba tiks and am never sure how they will play with more traditional prints.
Gemm- Although the fabrics look like batiks they are a combination of Moda Marbles, Fabriquilt and Blank Fabrics. But I have combined regular woven and batiks in quilts before without any issues.
