I’m trying not to overthink this. Rarely do I follow the leader (note my choice of colors, not scrappy, placement of white, and use of teal as neutral). Rest my case. So now, since I’m not seeing the future for this quilt, I’m trying to follow the leader. I sorta like that big/ginormous square. It’s a spot to rest my eyes. It gives variety to the sizes. The center square is size 1x, the next round has squares 2x, the outer row is 3x. There’s a pattern to it. To me, the big/ginormous square is an anchor.

Well, that’s my opinion and everyone gets to have one.
