I thought I had seen something similar, lately, but unable to find it. I'm wondering if it could be using two sizes of the block. I'm thinking that the chevron & 4 patch on the top go with the pieces on the right to make a
larger block of very similar design. Since the square in square seem to be a lighter color, could it be that it was meant to be a signature quilt. Although looking at it again, the chevron should be more solid at the bottom.
