I had a rotating mat years ago and it drove me nuts. It was fine in the center, but when I was cutting near the edge the mat would bow down. Bad design, hopefully they've corrected that by now.
I use a regular flat mat that's 14" x 18", I just spin it around on top of my table, no lazy susan needed. 😁 Works great.
