I’m not sure what type of confetti quilt you’re doing, but Noriko Endo uses tulle to cover her confetti quits instead of fusing them. I saw this years ago when Alex Anderson had her show on HGTV and it’s still on my bucket list to make one.. Here’s a blog post of someone who did one with her technique.
