My dilemma now is do I polish it or leave it as is. I am leaning towards leaving it since it shows that the machine was well loved and used. It is 72 years old on April 25th according to the serial number database.

I also found a receipt from 1957 in the box with the zig zag attachment, how cool is that? The zig zag attachment was purchased in Flint MI.

BTW, did you know that Singer gifted a 201 to Queen Elizabeth as a wedding gift?
