I believe this would be best left with a jagged raw edge and mounted on a matting/frame as Ryder suggested. Doing so would surely express the (raw) emotion that your art quilt represents. Nothing pretty, nothing fancy, just vulnerably raw - and then mounted/framed beautifully - excellent work!
