Can you shrink the embroidery design and see if it fits better?
Check the size of the embroidery field for the hoop size. The field is smaller so the embroidery foot doesn’t hit the hoop.
How did you align the name and number? If it is centered, that might be why it is starting out 1 inch.
Can you align the name and number to the left side of the embroidery field?
