I have the Janome Artistic SD 18 which I've been told by service repair and sales people - it is the same machine as a Tin Lizzie.
There is hope for us as it is true this machine is no longer made. But I found us a resource:

Ammon is a relative to the gentleman who invented the Tin Lizzie (grandson) I believe. At any rate, I have been in contact with Ammon and he is a wealth of information. I've only had to order one part and he was able to order and also answer a lot of other questions that I had. Good service right there!
