I finished my first log cabin. Very pleased how it turned out! Still needs to be washed to get out the quilting stencil and measuring chalk lines, but couldn't wait to put in pictures! I named it: Calm Sky Log Cabin.
Finished blocks are 14" Finished Quilt size is: 99 x 114" It was made using the Quilt As You Go method, done by sections (rows) with no sashing. Border added to top and bottom to frame. The dark brown is the last log on each block with that same fabric strip used for the top and bottom border.
Don't mind the wrinkle in the third picture at the bottom of the quilt. One of the kitties blankets was laying on top of the bed when I put the quilt on it for pictures!
