I purchased some frosted clear cutting mats from the Dollar Tree to make templates. I needed Kitchen sheers to cut them but they have made the best template material I found. Large size mats and low cost. I made both 4" and 7" DP but not made a King size quilt from them. They are still waiting to be made into a quilt. I liked both. I fold the pieces in half and clip a TINY notch at the center, meet the ends and had no trouble sewing either size. I find sewing DP blocks to slow and steady work but also fun.
