I have done the cross stitch Christmas Stockings. (The very detailed and intricate), It started out for my son, then daughter. They got married - 2 more - DIL and SonIL. I have 5 gkids now, just finished the oldest one for last Christmas and have 4 more to go. They take SO long that I would not have pursued the gkids, except that's the only thing my daughter likes that I make!!!
