This is a free pattern from Fat Quarter Shop that I just finished. It uses fat eights but has you cut them into 7 1/2" x 20" pieces, sew 4 together and make flip cut, sew together and you have a finished block. I made the throw size and it came together in an afternoon. I'm going to be cutting a lot of my scraps up to this size.
