Last week, my friend and I went to Indianapolis, Indiana to attend a "Quilting College" held by Kaye England. If you have never experienced one of her schools, you need to treat yourself!! We both learned so much -- my head is still reeling!!

I don't always do well sewing in a room with others so Patti & I started on something quite simple. The little quilts were almost made entirely from scraps we found in a "scrap basket" that Kaye had. There are over 70 different fabrics. Each little rectangle measured 1 1/2" x 3" before sewing.

(And yes, we also made several other more difficult blocks that I'll show you later when I get the top all finished...)

I didn't take a lot of pictures but thought you all might enjoy these: :D

Kaye was most gracious about posing for photographs all weekend!
