Love your poetic description of the first of October.
At lunch today, we sat on the dock of a river. The threatening rain clouds kept the sun at bay. It was a very pleasant 80’s with breeze and humidity. We agreed, we’re drip dry so it was ok if it rained.
watched the boats, people, dogs. Listened to bands. Good food. Good companions.
