I ran out of "get-up-and-go" yesterday. I cleaned the tube well and lubricated it. It seems to be working fine. The mechanism is moving easily. I didn't try it on the actual tree skirt to see if I could reduce the pressure on the fabric. I will do that today.

How do you get the spring out to clean it if the problem is not solved?
