Wow! That's a big wedding cake! I was watching a food competition show at my dau's house and some celebrity chef had to make a wedding cake in 6 hours. When it was done, it looked beautiful for about 2 minutes and then started to collapse, due to the weight and the fact that he didn't use any type of support system...not even cake boards. And he's a professional! He should have known better. There's normally all kinds of hidden support in a wedding cake, from tier columns, to dowels, etc.
