Jon, do you have two manuals for the Eldredge B? The one in this thread has the leaf tension but the manual on the other board is for the Improved Eldredge B and has tension on the nose.
According the needlebar site, (Eldredge B) Fiddle shaped bed. Square throat plate whereas this one has the round needle plate.
