Apple crisp is one dish I don't use a recipe for. I don't usually peel the apples, cut up and fill whatever dish you are going to use. (I use a glass pie plate). Dump them in a bowl, add spices and a little sugar, mix all around, back into the pie plate. Then I cream 1/2 stick of butter and some flour in my mini food processor, add some brown sugar and spices, add some oatmeal and ground walnuts. Mix all this up in the same bowl. When it looks like enough to cover the apples, do so. Bake at 350 for about 45 minutes. Sometimes I add raisins or dried cranberries to the apples.
