I don't know if this has been mentioned on the boards before. It's a group where you can volunteer to finish a handwork project for someone who started it but can not finish it for whatever reason - death, disability, whatever. I signed up to do hand quilting but my impression is that they have a lot more volunteers than projects. They have a FB group you can join once you have signed up, some of the projects are
like crocheted
thread tablecloths etc.
One person started a crib afghan for her child who passed away, a volunteer turned it into a sweater that she could wear in memory of her child.
