I’ve found the idea (which I read on the internet somewhere) that as you put things away think: where would I look for this if I wanted it. And put it there. This has been great for me as I try to get my house and sewing area organised.
I made a new small plastic storage box for “brights” today. I have so many kids and other cute fabrics that don’t “fit” in separate colour boxes. Rainbows, navy background with bright blue and orange and yellow dinosaurs etc. I’ll see how this idea goes.
