I have already started on my selvage stash, I love them! I did a sample block with a friend that wanted to learn how to do them. I also did a project for our quilt group Valentine Day Gift exchange. It was canceled because of the snow, so I got to keep it. I found some beautiful carnations that were just the right color.

The heart is made with selvages, the rest with the fabric that came with the selvages. Used the quilt as you go method for the strips. I used foundation piecing and machine applique for the heart..
