I just measure 2 different sides, multiple it by 2 and add 10 more inches. As I glue my binding onto my quilt before I take it to the machine to sew it on, I know ahead of time whether I have enough or not. Only once did I goof up and not have enough but again I was at the pressing station when I found out. Must have been a bad day for me.
