you could use some of the border fabric to "fill in" the jagged edges the triangles make. then add that same color border on. good luck.
Yes this could work really well.....make it look like your triangles are overlapping or sitting on top of your border.
I will be watching here. I have this book, and will be doing at least one of the projects. I will probably encounter the same issue.
