I have found that my "really big piece" of MM Nautical is, in reality, a measly 3 yards and not big enough for a backing. Especially for the 2 quilts it's supposed to cover.
If you've bought it lately and have some of the older stuff, is it roughly the same as before? Has Nautical changed from that wonderful dark navy? I wouldn't be combining new and old but definitely after that color.
Brenda Riddle, one of their designers, has said that Moda is not digitally printing. Hoping it's still so and that it's a safe bet to order an enormous amount online.
