I keep notes about everything I make, especially assembly short cuts I used or diagrams of more efficient ways to cut fabric than the pattern calls for so there is less waste. I also note on the pattern how many extra WOF strips or half strips the pattern called for that were not used. I keep all the patterns I have made in one file drawer and those I want to try in another so I can sort thru them easier.
