I did not use stabilizer, but wish I did. The hankies were not exactly flat or square and that would have helped. Another thing I wished I had done different is that I had used cross hatch quilting across the hankies. I saw some "rescued" antique quilts that had the squares quilted with cross hatching and they were beautiful. I still have some handkerchiefs so that might yet happen.
