Here's an easy recipe for a healthy dip that tastes sinful:

Cooked brown, red or green lentils
walnuts
grilled onions and or mushrooms
parsley
a couple drops of liquid smoke
a few drops of lemon juice
thyme
a couple of garlic cloves
salt, pepper, etc

Put it all in the food processor and blend until very smooth. Pour into small ramekins and chill. Serve with crackers, bread, or veggies. I like to smear some on a Lavash flatbread and add some veggies for an easy lunch.

BTW...You can add other things to this dip as you wish. I added some fresh currants instead of lemon juice and it was wonderful! A little booze in it wouldn't be bad either, but not as healthy.
