I bought another model of the Quantum, it was used at a good price, and I felt better about it but never really used it again. I don't know about the new versions of it .
Awwww...how sad

The winter of 2013 where we lived in PA was very snowy and my late husband had just gone through several surgeries on his ankle so he was still recovering but he was bored. He asked me if he could use my Quantum to make a quilt. I helped get fabric ready for him and he sewed it all himself. I have that quilt and I'll treasure it forever. He passed away suddenly in October, 2023. I have a couple pictures of him sewing on that machine but I can't figure out how to post pictures. Every time I get that machine out, I think of him making that quilt.
