I bought a Janome DC2011 about 12 years ago and am now helping a friend buy a new machine. When I was buying a machine back then I remember there being several Janomes in my price range ($300-$600) and I had a hard time deciding which to go with. But now I’m looking at their website and there are only 9 machines ranging from $3,800-$20,000. This is disappointing. I like this brand but $3,800 is way more than she can afford and probably has features she’ll never use. Does Janome no longer make regular old sewing machines?

Edited to add - I just found what I wanted on the Janome website. Looks like I didn’t check the “category” field. Tried to delete this post but I guess I can’t, so I’m editing.
