I haven't touched my quilt machine since April 2023 and the quilt is still on the frame 2/3 done. Lost my mojo all that time but I did make some new throw pillow covers for the sofa so not totally out of touch with sewing. Finally finished a flimsy that's been on the design wall for say 3 years, just needed the 2 sashings and border added but now I just finished that yesterday. Came out at 107x107 so my backing will not fit and I'll have to start looking for another one that's not directional as the one I had picked out before. Now I have Elizabeth Hartman's dinosaur blocks up on the design wall and will work on that until it's finished. I'm using all the cutoffs, scraps, etc to add to the sides as I feel it's too narrow for the little boy's toddler bed. I'm making the larger size. Once that's done, I'm hoping I'll be in the mood to finally finish the quilt on the frame as it goes to the spare bedroom. I have yet to make a quilt for my bed though I do have the pattern and fabrics pulled out for it. It's the French Braid pattern as I've never made one before. So wish me luck that I won't lose my mojo again before I can get back to the quilt machine. The gardens take up most of my time during the summer and it's been slow growing this year for some reason.
