Peckish ... Could it just be the ground pepper? Big chunks of it, because it's coarsely ground?

ChasingHawk ... This recipe has me intrigued. I think mostly because of the apple cider vinegar. Otherwise, it reminds me of the way my Mom would serve fresh cucumbers when we were kids, but using regular vinegar. Thanks for sharing and the trip down memory lane!
