Does anyone know of a fabric company that will try to match fabric from a scrap that is sent to them? I heard of one years ago that would do this but I cannot remember which company it was. I decided to change how I was putting a border on a quilt and do not have enough of the fabric to finish it. I need to match a solid maroon/garnet color that I started using in the sashing of blocks in the body of the quilt and blocks in the border. I can’t find anything close in my LQSs. Kind of a novice when thinking outside the quilt box. Can’t help with the name of the mfg. Couple of ideas if they would work. Post a picture of the fabric, maybe another poster could help. Or would your quilt look alright with complementary tone fabric inserts? Accent pieces? Might add interest. That always gives the quilt a level of complexity with harmony. Just some ideas that popped in my head. Sorry you have run out, bummer. But do salvage it. Don’t let it become a UFO!
