I haven't taken the time to look at the sites to see what patterns are there, but if you have a large-scale print, then using that as feature squares and either alternating the blocks with simple 4-patches in two coordinating colours or adding a frame (again, maybe in alternating but coordinating colours) around the blocks could be a good quilt that doesn't require a complicated pattern.
