Quilt Binding Using Upholstery Rope
Hi--I would like to finish a 110" x 110" quilt with upholstery rope plus a color flange--a finishing method frequently used for finishing pillows, bedspreads, and duvets. I am attaching a few pictures of a duvet cover finished with the rope binding I hope to replicate on my quilt. I have studied this finish, stopping just short of ripping open seams on my duvet cover to try to figure out how to put it all together on a quilt. If you have an opinion or recommendation, I am all ears. TIA and best regards.
