I can just imagine the woman cross stitching and embroidering these pieces. The time that she spent on these is to be valued. I am glad your friend decided to keep them and chose you to finish her mom’s work. Too few people appreciate this handwork anymore. I used to do both hand embroidery and cross stitch, so I know the time it takes and also the sense of satisfaction you have, when it’s completed.
