Drunkards Path question.

Firstly may I offer huge hugs to everyone in Florida and hope everyone is safe after nasty Milton.
I want to make a Drunkards Path block, - 6 inches, but I would like to make it by folding the curved seam back and sewing it down. I hope that makes sense and hopefully someone can help me. Thanks so much x
