Terriamn, the mouth problems are really just adding serious insult to injuries. As I think Cheese said, you cannot catch a break. I also took a tumble about 10 days ago. Ended up face down in the yard, tripping over the curb, not watching where I was going. My glasses were seriously tweaked, I have bruises on my knee and shoulder and scraped up my cheek. I immediately thought of you when I realized my cheek was bruised. It’s ok now but my pride was hurt. I’m thrilled it wasn’t worse.
So we’re in NM now. DH and I were about to star watch when he got whisked away by some serious astrophotographers to see what they were doing. Oh, well. It was too cold out anyway so I came in. Let’s face it, I was ditched for a bunch of guys in parkas and red lights on their heads! Lol
I’ve got a lead on a pup and we’re going to meet him next Thursday. He’s an old gent of 13 with some life left in him. He’s only 11 pounds. I don’t know his full story yet but DH and I fell for his face online and the fact that he really needs a home. His name is Ernie. He’s got skin issues but we can work on that. Ernie is so unexpected, I was sure we’d go for a young pitbull but we’ve fallen for this old gent instead. I hope it all works out! Pic below.
