We're up! I have a couple of initial thoughts, one is I have basically nothing in aqua or melon in my stash... well maybe a single large piece of melon but still limited aqua although I have quite a bit of teal. The nice thing about the "melon" I have is I have enough of a companion print to use for the back (I think)
I've been wanting to use Civil War fabrics this year and I have plenty of neutrals, I do have probably enough blue, would replace the melon with red and the red with dark brown, but I'd need a little more dark brown.
Or, maybe I can pull something together with what I have in non-Civil war fabrics. Nice thing is we have a couple of weeks before cutting and final decisions.
The other is the size of this project, it is square and 78" which I feel is a bit short. I will have to consider an extra row of maybe top/bottom borders.
I am ready for the trick or treaters and think I need to spend some time with my stash.
