Ernie looks like a lovely gentleman! So good of you to want to give him a loving home for his last years. Wishing you luck!
Terriamn, that tumble really did some harm. Hugs!!! Hopefully after the dentist trip, it will all be behind you.
I got some sewing done this morning while watching the twins play and Alida was rocking herself in her bouncy seat. Everyday is a party for the twinsies! Their sibling dynamic is hilarious to watch! Anyway, here's my block for Ibex. Hopefully you like it.
Great block for Ibex, this will fit in with the halloween theme perfect. I Love it.

I got more info on Ernie. Seems he had the worst flea infestation his foster mom had ever seen and she works at a veterinary hospital. He was a stray. His skin is improving but it will be a process. And he was seriously underweight. Poor guy. And since he’s a stray, his age was estimated so nobody knows how old he is. Well, whatever his age, he’s going to have a better life with us (if we mesh) than he had for a long while. He’s going to be spoiled. I can hardly wait.
Here’s a pic of us in front of our casita in NM. The weather’s been gorgeous. Just waiting another 20 minutes for full darkness before we head outside to watch the skies.
Take care all.
This is a great picture of you both.

Wmuteach, we meet Ernie next week and hope to have him by the weekend. We’ll be home on Monday. Looks like we’ve got a cloudy day today. That’s ok since today’s plans are simply to relax and enjoy the area.
Anyone else thinking of joining Boom 33? It’ll probably be posted mid-late January. I’ll keep you all apprised here.
Reminder, finished blocks must be in my hands on the 22nd of this month. That’s just less than 3 weeks away. You can probably ship as early as Saturday since it’ll take a few days to reach me.
Hope you all enjoyed Halloween. Did anyone have any fun trick or treaters this year?
Have a good day.
I am planning on joining the boom once again. This is my favorite time.

Here’s a picture of the kids trick or treating at our house and getting books instead of candy. It doesn’t show but I put up the Day of the Dead wall hangings and used the table runner from a previous Boom.
Unfortunately I’ve come down with walking pneumonia. Modern meds are wonderful and I feel much better today. I have a doc coming to the house and checking on my heart soon. Yep docs still make house calls here. The silver lining is I’ll have a lot of down time and will be finishing up the blocks this week!
Passing out books is a fantastic idea. As a reader, I would have loved this.

These are for: Two for Have4, Janice, Lstew, . I made extra blocks for Janice and Have4 as after I made the first block, I realized my blocks didn’t follow the directions as well as they could.
I’m happy I was able to get these done with time to spare. Making the same block a few times really helps! I’m a slow block maker. The applique always takes a long time and I’m a slow piecer too. Things with points, I many times baste first, to make sure I don’t cut off the points and the corners align. Someday I’ll be able to whip out these blocks like most of you do!
These are small less than 300K files too.
Janice can we mail these now or would you prefer we wait?
Thank you for my block. I love it. It will fit in perfectly

This pup will have a fantastic life now. He is precious. Keep us posted on his progress.
